Parents’ Choices for their Children’s Communication (P3C)

The P3C project is a set of surveys of parents of young children regarding their choices for their children’s communication. We are interested in learning what influences parents’ choices of spoken, signed, and augmented communication for children who are typically developing, those who are deaf or hard of hearing (d/hh), and those who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder or a Developmental Delay (ASD or DD).

We have finished collecting data from parents of typically developing children and those who are d/hh. We are currently collecting data from parents of children who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder or Developmental Delay. If you are a parent of a child under 9 years old with ASD or DD, click here to participate in our study!
